    St. Pat’s 2024

Lots of events this weekend for St. Patrick’s Day – here’s what I found happening in Waukesha. I hope you have the luck of the Irish on your side and get to go out and patronize these local businesses–they are putting in the effort to bring you a great time. But as always, please enjoy safely and have a designated driver. Come celebrate St. Patricks Day all weekend long @ The Point. We will have homemade food all weekend long. Corned Beef, Guiness Irish Beef Stew, Irish Nachos, Rueben Sandwiches, and more. Plenty of drink specials taboot. Get your day started with a delicious Irish Coffee! Get Ready to Sham-rock…

    Chef Pam’s Kitchen

I love collaboration and working together to help both sides benefit. So when Chef Pam’s Kitchen reached out to me to come in and have a discussion on how we could work together moving forward, I was ecstatic. If you aren’t familiar, Chef Pam’s Kitchen is located on Main Street near the Five Points and recently expanded its footprint in Waukesha to offer cooking classes and rental space for foodie entrepreneurs. The space is gorgeous and she is doing great business! Chef Pam had seen my Sundays with Sarah videos and wanted to know if I was interested in hosting one of my “Lives” as an event in her space.…

    The Craft Lounge

Downtown Waukesha has a lot of options when it comes to food and beverage. What more could Waukesha need? Maybe a place that specializes in craft drinks? Enter The Craft Lounge. Located in the former Bernie’s Tap Room on the corner of Clinton and Main Street, this large space has been updated with new seating, fresh paint, and a better bar setup. I stopped in with some friends for the Packers final regular season game. The first thing I noticed was the new lounge seating that was separated from the gathering tables that Bernie’s had. The beverage coolers that were behind the bar have been placed on top of the…

First Time Mom – Third Trimester

This post will be a little different than others, but it’s about the newest stage of my life and I want you all to follow along on this journey! This post was originally written for The Lake Country Mom blog, but I want my followers to be able to see it as well.  Resuming the story about my pregnancy, my third trimester went from the beginning of April until June 11 when our son, Cameron James, was born (15 days early). I’ll get to Cameron’s arrival on my next posts, but this one is focusing on that final trimester. I call this one the “it’s getting real trimester.” To say I felt big…

First Time Mom – Second Trimester

This post will be a little different than others, but it’s about the newest stage of my life and I want you all to follow along on this journey! This post was originally written for The Lake Country Mom blog, but I want my followers to be able to see it as well.  Picking up where I left off in my last post about my first pregnancy, I have completed my second trimester and Baby A is only a few short weeks away from arriving. But I wouldn’t have made it through this second trimester without all of the support and love from family and friends. My husband and I have dubbed this…

Baby Post – Reducing the Stigma Behind Infertility

Continuing my pregnancy journey on my blog with this next post. This post was originally written for The Lake Country Mom blog, but I want my followers to be able to see it as well.  Sunday, May 5 was Infertility Survival Day and in honor of that day, I want to share with you our struggle to get pregnant and use this platform to tell my story and let everyone else who is struggling know that you are not alone. I want to help reduce the stigma behind infertility and one way to do that is to talk about it.   My husband and I married in April 2017 and began trying for…

    St. Patrick’s Day – A Little Nontraditional

For many years, my friends and I have gone out together for St. Patrick’s Day. We have gone out in a few different cities, but no matter where we go, we always have a great time!  This year will be a little different for me being pregnant, but I vowed to myself when I found out I was pregnant that I would not be a hermit or not go out. I still want to have a good time with my friends and not miss out on experiences or time with them. I even bought a special shirt for the day and have a cute headband to wear to be festive!…

    Punch Bowl Social – MKE

We are very fortunate to live in an area that provides a vast variety of entertainment options. In Waukesha alone the variety is amazing. But by traveling just 30 minutes, the variety expands ten-fold. I was provided an opportunity to check out Punch Bowl Social in the new Bucks Entertainment Block before it opens on Saturday. They allowed area influencers in during their soft opening week and gave us the royal treatment. I brought my friend Tory along to check it out with me–it’s always more fun when you go with someone you know. Special thanks for the use of some of her pictures as well! Punch Bowl Social (PBS)…

    First-Time Mom – First Trimester

This post will be a little different than others, but it’s about the newest stage of my life and I want you all to follow along on this journey! This post was originally written for The Lake Country Mom blog, but I want my followers to be able to see it as well.  I may not have always known what I wanted to do or be when I grew up, but becoming a mom was always part of the plan. When I first started dating my husband, who has two daughters from his previous marriage, we talked very early on about the idea of children and he was on board.…
